Do you use controlled crying, CIO or extinction methods?

Whilst we have been trained extensively in all areas of sleep training these stronger approaches are rarely needed or recommended by our consultants however they do have their place. We have a variety of other methods available, which we will discuss with you during our consultation. We will not ask you to do anything you are not comfortable with.

If I purchase a sleep/support package what happens after that? How soon can I expect my personalised plan?

You will receive a confirmation email of your purchase along with information to get you started before our consultation such as keeping a 3-4 day journal of your baby’s current schedule (include wake up times, nap times and duration, feed times and night waking). You will also receive a comprehensive questionnaire to fill out and return prior to our scheduled consult.

After your consultation you can expect your personalized sleep plan with in 6 hours. Depending on the package you have purchased you will receive follow up support through the implementation of your plan. Further support can be purchased at anytime.

Do you work with twins and siblings?

Yes. Please contact us for special rates if you have 2 or more children needing sleep support.

Will I have to stop breastfeeding?

Certainly not. It is our top priority to support the mother child bond and the breastfeeding relationship.

Am I ready for this?

First of all you acknowledge that your baby/child’s sleep is not as you expected. You are feeling tired, worn out and cannot go on another night. You acknowledge that in the beginning implementing change will require strong levels of commitment and patience. You acknowledge that to see results you will need to be consistent and follow the advice given by your consultant.

What sleep training techniques/methods do you use?

We are trained extensively in a variety of methods such as holistic foundations only, gentle, low cry, no cry and controlled comforting. We will discuss in detail the pro’s and con’s of each method with you during our consultation. When can I expect my baby’s sleep to improve with the help of your services?

This all depends on the age and development of your child and the level of change needed. As a rough guide you can often see results with in 2-3 days. However for some babies and toddlers with deeply enriched habits it can take up to 2-4 weeks.

We ask all of our clients to make a commitment for a solid 2 weeks.

What age can I start sleep training?

We work with newborns up to 5 years of age. Sleep issues can arise at any age so we have developed a variety of techniques and support to cater for each age group. We do ask that you check with your GP to confirm your child is on track with their growth charts before you make any changes.

Do I need to clear my schedule to implement a sleep plan?

For best results we recommend you have few commitments for 2 weeks while implementing a new plan. Once you feel the routine is in place you can return to normal activities.

If my child attends daycare can you still help?

Yes and we will take this into account when making a plan with you.
